Children appreciate being dressed in clothing that they can manage themselves to reassure their independence. Play clothes are appropriate wear. Outdoor activities are a vital part of the program. Dress children appropriately for weather conditions. When buying boots or rubbers, buy them large enough to provide ease in putting them on and removing, or provide plastic bags to help in getting the boots on. Label all removable clothing (i.e. mittens, hats, sweaters, jackets, boots, etc., with names tapes or markers. There is a Lost & Found Box located in each classroom.
